Soft, gooey cinnamon rolls without turning the oven on. Sticky, spiced and stupidly easy.
Your silicone liner catches every drop of that sticky glaze, no scrubbing the tray after.
Ingredients
Dough
- 250g strong white flour
- 7g fast-action yeast
- 30g caster sugar
-
1/2 tsp salt
- 120ml warm milk
- 1 egg
- 30g butter, softened
Filling
-
50g butter, softened
- 60g brown sugar
-
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Icing
- 80g icing sugar
-
1-2 tbsp milk
Steps
-
Make the dough: Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add warm milk, egg and butter, and bring together into a soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes.
-
Prove: Cover and leave somewhere warm for 1 hour, until doubled in size.
-
Fill and roll: Roll out into a rectangle. Spread with butter, then sprinkle over brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up tightly and slice into 6 rounds.
-
Prove again: Place rolls on your air fryer liner, cover, and leave for 20 minutes.
-
Air fry: Cook at 160°C for 12-15 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
-
Ice and serve: Mix icing sugar with milk until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls and serve.
